The Erie County Community Foundation has established and continues a tradition of mindful, effective grant-making addressing a variety of needs throughout Erie County. These include but are not limited to, Arts and Humanities, Community Development, Education, Environment, Health and Social Services and Youth Services.   Charitable organizations, churches, governmental or other entities determined to be tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code are eligible to apply. 

The Foundation encourages proposals for projects that enhance collaboration among Erie County organizations, build organizational capacity, leverage additional resources, demonstrate sustainability, and yield substantial community benefits.
