Timothy Riesterer

Tim Riesterer has been an active member of the Erie County Community Foundation for the past four years.

Riesterer is a retired Captain of the Sandusky Fire Department, where he served for 35 years. His other significant service includes: a Township Trustee for the past 28 years, Past President of the Erie County Township Association, and former Board member of the Erie County Economic Development Corporation. Tim has been a member of the Castalia Lions Club for 30 years and is a Melvin Jones Fellow.

Riesterer is committed to serving the Erie County Community Foundation for the betterment of the citizens of Erie County.

Riesterer and his wife Martha have been married for 46 years and attend Holy Angels Parish. They have two adult children and are grandparents to three grandsons and a granddaughter.

His favorite activities are hanging out with his grandchildren, boating, and fishing.
